Where can I hire servers/buffet attendants? We’re self-catering our wedding, but we could really use some help refilling trays and drink dispensers and keeping trash...

Avoid an agency - they will mark up your bill. Craigslist/ Thumbtack/[Task Rabbit](https://medium.com/@SarahSchacht/happy-bride-how-i-dumped-the-wedding-industry-7 e8 e64 bad6 af)/ Culinary programs/word of mouth for one person with event experience. Then you could task that person with hiring and supervising the rest. There is quite the network among people who work events. With this arrangement you get people with experience and there's no doubt about who's in-charge day-of.

Does your closest college have a hospitality program? My college’s program had a restaurant and function hall specifically for training the students. They were damn good waitstaff and hungry for money.

[taskrabbit.com](https://taskrabbit.com) My area has facebook groups that are also good for sourcing people - try searching Gigs or Freelance, also I'm a member of local bride to be pages where I have seen people put out calls for help and it looked like it would work. Do you have a DOC? They may be able to help find reliable staff they enjoy working with (often times will be there family or friend).

We've tried several bbq catering companies for our summer departmental picnic. Cowboyz BBQ has the best catered bbq in town, BY FAR! Tommy Dees is also awesome to work with and goes above and beyond what is requested of them. Highly recommend!
