Avoid Dr. Lint like the plague, awful awful service. Dr. Sturt and the ladies at Cadence Dental are absolutely fantastic! Never had a better dentist.

Again if a little driving is ok and free parking ... Dr. Ken Luft at Meadowlark Dental (in Meadowlark mall) is phenomenal. I find a lot of new dentists send you out to "specialists" way too often and that gets expensive. Dr. Luft does the work himself unless you truly need a dental surgeon etc and he is amazing at what he does.

Dr. Hrynkiw is pretty good. Been going to him since I was a teen.

Dr Lam is great and never charges a cent over the allowable claim amount (so if you have basic coverage, check ups, cleaning and X-rays are free)

Andre Nobert is the best dentist! Very gentle....can't feel any freezing going in ever! Great with kids too! 780-459-6725

I agree about Dr. Degner at Lacombe Park. Awesome dentist and they direct bill the insurance first if you have coverage. She's also great with kids.

Dr Wong in ST albert centre is amazing..I am english and it sounds cliche but I am terrified of going to the dentist..he was amazing. After 10 yrs of not going he helped me back on the wagon. He was understanding very gentle and I woudlnt go to anyone else..:)

I agree Tamara. We don't use fluoride either and have not been hassled by Dr. Watamaniuk. I've been to another practice in Edmonton where the dental assistant yelled across the office "mother still refusing fluoride". I noticed that she didn't yell the results of my children's checkup- that they were still cavity free. ;)

My brother had a horrible experience with a dentist and we ended up going to Valley Centre Dental Clinic in Whitecourt. We have been patients there ever since and it's been close to 16 years ago. They have TV's on the ceilings and headphones so the kids can zone out while being worked on and there is a nice playroom in the waiting area. I have never been there when no kids were present. Always super friendly and they are so patient with new little ones.

The Valley Centre Dental Clinic in whitecourt is awesome. Maia had to come with me for one of my visits, and they were awesome with her! They always have lots of kids there when I go. I'm taking Maia there when she's older. Very professional, clean, staff is great, always very accommodating.

Cadence Dental has been amazing with our kids. They have direct billing and in most cases it has been covered by our plan.

Bright Dental is awesome. Dr. Christina and Dr. Frank are both great but Christina is the best with kids and terrified husbands. Chances of getting something fully covered are slim to none anywhere. Most dental plans work off years old dental fee schedules whereas the dentists want to get the rate that's approved for the current year. Unless your plan is uber amazing you'll pay more almost anywhere.

I use Lakeside Dental 15 min drive to Edmonton (Beaumaris). Dr.Pohl is a mom of 4 and does great work, follows the insurance price guidelines so anything we pay isn't a huge surprise.

EPM, honestly? im terrified of dentists and tend to put going off til I must but I did go to EPM last week and Dr. Mah is wonderful, very gentle and his staff are such kind ladies !! The hygenist was gentle and thorough, you can't go wrong with EPM

Lacombe dental, Dr Degner. They seem to be covered fully as I only had to pay the 20% my plan doesn't cover. She's fantastic with kids and their parents, as are the hygienists.
