Can anyone recommend an HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY mechanic? I live in Saint-Leonard, but I'll travel anywhere to find an honest mechanic if one exists! Not bashing any...

P and R garage on upper lachine in ndg. These guys have been doing all of my family's mechanics for years now. Its a garage that is mainly focuses on trucks, but they can do anything, my dad just had his vintage 1966 jaguar rebuilt there as well as a 59 chrysler imperial. They're really good., they will always tell you beforehand what the problems are and will infact inform you if there are going to be any extra charges. They are quick and reliable, good guys. http://www.yellowpages.ca/bus/Quebec/Montreal/P-R-Auto-Service-Inc/3575560.html

This Italian dude in Longueul. F.E.S. 849 Rue Verchères 450-463-4200 Extremely reasonable. He's prompt and knows what in the hell he's doing. Work we've had him do has been quick and cheap. I don't want to mention prices because I don't know what he charges other people, but what he's charged us is...wow. I think it's because he competes with Gene Venne there on Taschereau (and he's not bad, either TBH). In fact, that whole little strip there behind Gene Venne and next to it, they all seem to have raised competition levels. Even the dude who sells used tires there is on the up and up. He fixed a flat for me for next to nothing. Gene Venne changes your oil for less than $30.
