Croe and Shanahan are the best (I was a paralegal for 30+ years). If I were you, I would use Allsup in Belleville. They are not lawyers, but all they do is disability and they don't take a fee until you receive your backpay. I was turned down on my first request because I was much younger than I am now, but they got it approved for me in no time. Just sent my neighbor to them and he's already been approved.

We just got approved after 4 years and we used Brent Gaines in Belleville. He was great. Highly recommend him.
Lauren M. replied:
I meant Crowe and Shanahan (Cheryl Crowe's father). There are many good attorneys, but I would use Allsup. You can do everything over the phone and they handle absolutely everything from beginning to end.
