Hi Dawn, releasing equity and equity release although they sound the same are slightly different. If you are looking to just re-mortgage and capital raise fo say home improvements then that would be a standard mortgage adviser (happy to help). However if you are looking to raise money from your property for retirement, which you wouldn't necessarily be paying back - then this is Equity Release. For this you will need an adviser who holds a specific licence in this. Someone like Viva Retirement Solutions for example. Happy to chat this through with you if that helps. 07891197642 Thanks Lorri
