Does anyone have a recommendation for a good local (to State College) chiropractor?
Luciano J. replied:
Robb Whitmoyer does a great job on backs...
Yana B. replied:
Christopher Hartley is a pretty amazing guy and chiropractor. I give him the highest recommendation possible.
Ania F. replied:
Dr. David Calandra...he's local and uses holistic medicine only. He's great!!
Jeff B. replied:
Jeff Simpson
Tommy N. replied:
I second Diehl Family Chiropractic. His name is Thad though, not fred! It's on w college ave by West Side Grill.
Brittani J. replied:
Casteel Chiropractic on Atherton St is great
Tom T. replied:
Dave Mikula on North Atherton about 1/4 mile past the waffle shop. If you call him tell him that I refered you and say hi to him for me.
Robin T. replied:
Jeff Nicastro!! Nicest guy ever, looks like Mr. Clean, and has fixed my entire family. Gives you exercises you can do at home to shorten healing time from injuries, doesn't make sure you have to keep coming back like some chiro's, he just fixes what's broken!
Jason S. replied:
I have used Dr. Loves office on university drive
Shawn Q. replied:
Dr Diehl....Dr live Dr Simpson. All good. I like Dr Diehls philosophies.
Can anyone in the area recommend a chiropractor? Need to do something about this back pain other than complain :)
Karen S. replied:
Integrative Health Care Associates. They look for the source of the problem rather than just cracking you back into place to relieve the symproms only.
Starleisha G. replied:
Dr. Roy Love. He's on the board at the state theatre. I've never been to him but he's a really nice guy!
Ashley W. replied:
My sister loves hers, and she's a little picky (the pickiest person ever). "Mark Neman ~ 814~355~4889"
Eric H. replied:
The Wizard! Dr. Scipione, State College Family Chiropractic. He's a magician and pretty cool too.
I need info on animal chiropractors for a clients dog. I know you animal people can help...Jen Spence, Liz Strickler
Jen S. replied:
Maryellen Sayers is an accupuncturist in the area...I have heard AMAZING things about her, also Kevin McCarthy is a chiro and works with Metzger Animal Hospital doing adjustments for the animals..Cathy O'Connell anything to offer?
Amy S. replied:
Sharon Teaman....check this info out!
Renee C. replied:
Yes, both of those mentioned by Jen and Liz. Dr. Dave (he's a human chiropractor with a practice near Pittsburgh but comes to the Rottie Den once a month, I think.) Have had good results with patients from all of them.
Catie R. replied:
I second Sayre Veterinary Acupuncture! She has worked on our girls for over a year now. I have recommended her to many folks. She is great!
Beth M. replied:
Amy, I agree with Liz above. Dr. Dave comes about every 5 weeks to the RottyDen - I can give you contact info if you want - but the quicker option is Dr. Kevin at Metzger's. Recommend both! But Dr. Kevin can take a bit more time with each animal and he's at Metzger Tues/Thurs from 4 - 7 every week.
Audra H. replied:
Dr. Dave Smolensky from Mars, PA. you can either see him at his office or wait until he comes to the Rottie Den in Milesburg. Great guy...
Amy S. replied:
When my sweet Annie was sick with her brain tumor I delved into all kinds of Eastern type non traditional therapies. Chinese herbs, Acupuncture and Reiki. I think it helped her quality of life for those last few months. Western medicine can't always help pets OR humans.
Cathy O. replied:
Mary Ellen Sayre has been working on our pointer for back mobility and pain management since last fall and she is amazing! I would highly recommend her!
Liz S. replied:
Mary Ellen Sayre comes to see a couple of my dogs and she is fantastic.
Lisa B. replied:
We've been sending one of our adoptables, Darius, to the chiropractor at Metzger Animal Hospital. I personally haven't had a ton of interaction, but am pleased with his approach and thoughts on treatment for our special guy.
Spent the last 20 minutes on the couch lying on a box of frozen chopped spinach. Looking forward to seeing the chiropractor. And perhaps I need some alternative ice...
At the chiropractor!! Can't wait for my adjustment!! Would you drive an hour to go the chiropractor? Or find one close to home but know it's not as good as the one...
