Dr. Tempel in Haxtun was willing to come to our house and do our dog. She passed before we could get him out there but he was more than willing. It was a little more expensive to have him come to our house but not by much

I agree with Dusti Rose. Dr. Temple is the absolute best and it gives me a chance to stop at the Grainland Convenience store and get a soft served ice cream cone.. (bring back the mocha cappuccino flavor!!)

For those who need low cost spay/neuter when there is no clinic available the Ft. Morgan Vet Clinic at 542-6416 starts at $30.

Hey Falicia, I know the FMHS has certain clinic days. I called them for info on the spay/neuter clinic but I cannot go on the days they hold the clinic. It is first come first serve and with picking up kiddos from school by the btime I got in line in Brush I would probably be making the trip for nothing. The FM Vet clinic has a special program for low cost spay/neuter on a daily basis. I talked with Dr. Robinette and he does the work for FM vet clinic and yes it may be a little more expensive to go to the vet clinic but you are able to do it at anytime at dramatically reduced price. For example, my 4 mo old male kitten will only cost me $30 and I can make an appointment to fit my schedule. However, thank you Falicia for posting these clinic dates from the FMHS. We have too many unwanted animals and its important for owners to be responsible for their animals.

Dr Frantz is an amazing doctor but the colorado plains physician center have near or higher prices than the clinic.

Dr Frantz takes medicaid if you have it. And she is an amazing doctor and has a great staff as well Keri Nelson is the nurse there and she's awesome

I am a medical transcriptionist and work currently for an urgent care orthopedic clinic and several years ago worked for a different one. One of them is open 24/7 and the other is not, but has extended hours and is walk-in. They both have radiology and other facilities that most doc offices do not have. I think there is a wide array of urgent care clinics and an even broader concept in the general public of what is considered urgent care. You are all basically arguing over something that you both agree on, just saying it a little differently. Thank you Alicia Kloberdanz for clarifying:) This service is very much needed in this community. We have Care-Now clinics and the Minute Clinic where we are from and this has really helped ease the ER's in the area. More people will go to one of these clinics and save the ER for true emergencies.
