We have had good luck with this site http://www.partselect.ca/ diagnosing, ordering parts and then videos on how to do the fix! Sucks not having a small appliance repairman handy!

We had repair work done about 2 weeks ago, and Bob had a company come out from Lacombe. Bob made the arrangements but I believe it was called Corner Appliances.
