^ I just picked my "little ole Lady" up (98 Toy Corrolla) from Parks Auto for a transmission fluid winter check maintenance. They also said to NOT FLUSH transmission fluid if is dark, as it can cause alot if damage. They treated me very fairly and didn't artificially inflate the bill.

I paid for a reliable, unbiased mechanic (with multiple recommendations from different people) and ended up paying about $45~$55 k into a plane right after buying it for an engine overhaul and replacing multiple critical airframe parts...

What model? Some models require more specialized mechanics and there are forums specifically for some models.

To get it fixed after knowing if it’s a minor code or a major one take it over to Main Street auto in Chester. Sometimes the check engine light will come on for a loose or faulty gas cap or difference in fuel.
