Depending on how far you want to drive. The best trainer I have ever found is Chris Akin in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I have done a lot of research and trial and error with dogs and trainers and he is the best I have found.

Dakota. It looks like you got a nice looking dog there. The last thing you want to do is put that dog in the wrong hands. Stay away from so called "professional " trainers who barely have a couple of junior and senior passes under their belt. Stay away from trainers in this area that are surprised and amazed that you can train a dog using positive reinforcement. If you want results, if you want a trainer with character and ethics, no matter if you want a master hunter or if you just want a damn good hunting dog that will bust his ass for you in any conditions I would highly recommend you calling Greg Nelson with Kansas City Retrievers. Please feel free to PM me for details.

Chris akin is way over priced. And he doesn't even rlly train the dogs his employees do it for him. There are 2 others around the Jonesboro area that I recommend. In fact I just got mine back from Matt Flanery from paraguld or Boe from bono
