Anyone know a cheap plumber or have any advice for me? My kids have poured sand in bath drain and blocked it I've picked and unscrew the plug and tried pull hair to free...

Theresa Philp?

Would recommend Jim Philp too. Have you tried pouring a couple of freshly boiled kettles of water down? Our bath regularly doesn't drain due to my long hair and that usually sorts it.

Jim Philp has done many jobs for me and my parents and is very reasonable (in fact I've no idea how he makes any money from the prices he charges). His numbers are 843336 or 07941 087839. Good luck

Why don't you use a drain unblocker (for about £3 in supermarket) to breakdown whatever else is down there and then the sand might flow through better. I read recently that vinegar and baking soda does a similar job. . . http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JeurinbyqhQ
Anyone know a plumber who would be willing to come out asap! Blocked sink in the kitchen and 16 people coming for dinner this afternoon and my "Emergency cover" can't...
