Twang is a really cool coffee shop with a guitar shop in the basement, located in Södermalm. also in Södermalm is ilcaffe which was my favorite (they have several locations and i was most preferential to their drottninggatan location)

Himalaya coffee in Hötorgshallen is great!

Vurma is nice! There's one in Hornstull and one in Vasastan

Majkens Cafe in Midsommarkransen, Tegelbruksvägen 2 They bake everything themselfs, great coffee, locally made icecream and really nice atmosphere

For brunch I'd recommend "Gildas Rum" located at Nytorget. Gilda is most often an old lady's name and that goes with the atmosphere. It feels like walking in to a grandma's living room. It's cozy and the food is really good.

Espresso House. And if you don't like it, walk fifty meters down the street and you'll probably find a different Espresso House to try. Joking aside, when I was there a few weeks ago, we really did like the Espresso House by Sergels Torg.

I'd like to recommend [Vetekatten](http://www.vetekatten.se/en/) on Kungsgatan. Super nice place! For another place that is nice albeit somewhat special, there is STHLM RAW café near Hornstull. Not been there for quite a while now though. For brunches, the only place I know is [Greasy Spoon](http://www.greasyspoon.se). Very nommy pancakes! I hope that is close to what you were looking for. :)

Café Pascal on Norrtullsgatan (near Odenplan) has great coffee.
