Anyone have a veterinarian they recommend? We just adopted a bully breed and are fairly new to the area.
Joseph C. replied:
Dr. Peter Batts! Love that guy - I had to leave my cat for a few hours after she got shaved, when I came back, he was walking around the office with her in his arms, and they seemed to be whispering sweet nothings to each other...
Keith B. replied:
Flemington Vetinary Hospital.. been there for over 15 years with my Jack Russell's. Very professional.. all my dogs past lived long heathy lives under their care. And they are caring for my "new crew" all rescues... 1 with some issues but we are all straightened out now with their assistance and care.
Lisa S. replied:
I've had many pets thru the years. Been to Spring Mills (Suzanne Smith), Chad Tindall, Flemington Vet, and Reynolds.....now I travel to Paw Prints in Ringoes. Finally satisfied. Caring, reasonably priced, organized, and seems to be thorough with exams and treatment options. http://www.pawprintsvethospital.com/
Kathy S. replied:
Paw Prints is Dr. Mary Ann Milford. Rte. 202, across from Tractor Supply, Ringoes. She gives great care, and when the end came for one of my cats, she was compassionate but truthful about the options available.
Janet C. replied:
Dr. Peter Batts right in Frenchtown. Cared for all our animals for 25 years.
Janet C. replied:
Dr. Batts 1 (908) 996-3350 English country doctor, he has an Animal Hospital in Trenton also and has even made house calls on his day off over the years.
Nicole P. replied:
South branch vet in Lebanon. They are AAHA certified. Knowledgeable veterinarians, compassionate staff and a very high staff to patient ratio. Check out the website www.sbveterinary.com
Cindy C. replied:
I vote for Dr Reynolds- and no appointment necessary!!!!
Karen H. replied:
Spring Mills...
Molly S. replied:
Flemington Veterinary Hospital. Especially Dr. Charlie. She's fantastic!
Sheri P. replied:
Dr Tindall in Stockton
Kathy S. replied:
no prblems with Dr. reynolds and cats. i am now using Dr. Mary Ann milford in Flemington. i adopted my cats thru her. She is good, caring and reasonable.
Amy C. replied:
Dr. Reynolds on RT 12 is the BEST!!!
Deirdre B. replied:
Dr. Peter Batts is great. Right in Frenchtown.
Kara H. replied:
If you need a bully specialist, can't recommend Dr. Wayne Randolph in Flemington enough. Hosting a lunch for his office on Thursday to thank them and celebrate our bulldog's 11 th birthday, after he rescued her from death twice this winter with two rare/severe issues by refusing to give up, researching everything, pulling strings, calling in favors, etc. Staff has cared for her since she was 8 wks old, and have become like family. When a med she needed was no longer manufactured, he worked with Cornell to compound an acceptable dose from horse meds. He understands bully anatomy, anesthesia, etc. and was the voted-in-by-peers head of NJ vet association for decades. Would humbly and wholeheartedly refer you with total confidence.
Jill S. replied:
Dr Batts is very caring. He likes to keep things very simple. I found when I had more complicated issue with my kitties, I sought help from vets in PA. He had no problem with that and would still provide help whenever I needed him.
Colleen P. replied:
Peter Batts
Shannon O. replied:
Dr Peter Batts right in town has been so good to our animals! His hours are a little odd, but he's great!
Colleen P. replied:
His hours are odd because he also runs Trenton Vet Hospital because it was the first Vet Hospital in out state and he's carrying on its legacy. He's an amazing person and wonderful with annals.
Kimi F. replied:
Doc Reynolds is amazing!!!
Sue L. replied:
Doctor Reynolds
Caryl H. replied:
Chadd Tindall hands down.
Nikki S. replied:
I also use Dr Suzanne Smith at Spring Mills and have for years! She treated my English bulldog wonderfully his whole life! There's a bulldog specialist in Staten island. ..Dr Shull. He's with Richmond Valley Veterinary Hospital
Jill S. replied:
Dr Smith was so mean years ago when I went a couple of times, I would never go back. But maybe she has gotten nicer:)
Nikki S. replied:
Dr Smith is blunt, honest, does not sugar-coat, overcharge or run unnecessary tests. Years ago when she was on vacation, I used Dr Reynolds and my cat ended up with all sorts of tests, a few hundred dollar bill and died a few days later anyway. When my bulldog passed away in December, Dr Smith gave me her cell number in the weeks prior to his passing and came straight from vacation to meet us for an emergency visit without going home first
Heather N. replied:
Flemington Vet for sure, esp DR. CHARLIE. She's super nice and compassionate, although you can't go wrong with any of them. Dr. Reynolds is just as great, but found with him it can be hard to get appt. due to his other practice.
Randy L. replied:
Agreed Nikki. Dr. Smith is honest, fair and available 24/7.
Patty A. replied:
Dr Smith was cold and heartless when we had to say goodbye to our one dog it was such a horrible experience. Dr Reynolds has always been warm and kind we ended up at Dr Smith because Dr Reynolds was not in
Patty A. replied:
Chad Tindall is great. always around. not as warm as his dad but a very good doctor.
Mare L. replied:
Does anyone use Dr. Reynolds for their cats?
Dawn S. replied:
I use Dr Reynolds for my cat my I also used him when I had my Chow and he was great with her
Erin S. replied:
I second Dr. Smith at Spring Mills. Kind of a dry personality but she is honest and great with your animals- she also will not take you to the cleaners. I had a Sunday morning emergency and she charged me a regular office visit.
Kathy V. replied:
Chad Tindall908-996-6600. Started with his Dad 20 years ago and now go to son. I would not trust my animals with anyone else.
Randy L. replied:
Spring Mills in Milford. Doc Smith and her whole staff are great. Been using them for almost 20 yrs. Have adopted two of our cats from them! They make appointments and give you a group discount, which we love with our four animals.
Kathy V. replied:
Just speaking from personal experience but I would not take another animal to Spring Mills. 20 years ago I took my first rescue dog there to be spayed. He developed a terrible infection. I called 2 times a day for 2 days and they would not give me an appointment to bring him back in. My neighbor gave the number for Dr. Ed Tindall and he saw him immediately. My poor Jack had such a bad infection that he said another day and he would have died. I was not happy with anyone at Spring Mills. Dr. Chad is wonderful and works closely with rescues in Tennessee. That is how I got my American Pit Rosie one year ago. He had the litter brought up from there. Dr. Chad will also make house calls.
Meredith W. replied:
Dr Reynolds in Flemington 100% We have used him for our cats & goats, e is amazing
Joe J. replied:
Dr Reynolds for sure!
Melanie M. replied:
Dr Peter Batts in Frenchtown. Basic & not a fortune like other Vets around.
Patricia I. replied:
Chad Tindall
Lorraine C. replied:
We love Dr. Pacifico at Flemington Vetinary Hospital. It's a large practice so I've never experienced a wait time. The other docs seems great too.
Lorraine W. replied:
We use Dr. Discafani at Hampton Animal Hospital. Nicest guy ever- tells you the truth - not outrageously priced. Previously we used Dr. Reynolds but stopped because of the long waits with their no appointments practice.
Tim P. replied:
Dr. Susan Smith at Springhill Vets in Holland..Just a few minutes from Milford. Excellent Vet!! 995-4959
Patty A. replied:
Dr Reynolds for sure!!
Rob N. replied:
There's a reason there are long waits at Dr. Reynolds he's that good
Amy C. replied:
I agree with Sue! Dr. Reynolds can never retire! Me and my furbabies LOVE him!
Jennifer C. replied:
Paw prints vet Dr Maryann Milford on 202
Pete S. replied:
Flemington Veterinary Hospital. Love them and more importantly, my cats love them...! Ask for Dr. Charlie, she's awesome!
Alexandrea G. replied:
