Allston Piano Moving got several good recommendations when I was looking to move an 8 ft grand from Boston to NC. I ended up selling it instead, but then used a national mover to to move the Erard I bought to replace it to Raleigh ***and here's the important bit*** I had specified delivery within a narrow range of dates (around my closing) as essential, as I was still living in Boston. The mover sub-contracted my move to a much less respected company, and didn't even tell them about my terms. It was a nightmare that dragged on for over a month, and cost me far more than the move had. Whatever company you go with, get everything in writing. Pickup, delivery, setup, climate, number of stairs at both ends, all of it.
