Go to Yelp for Wilmington & look at reviews for the type of restaurant you have in mind. Also here's a link to Wilmington Magazine's articles about restaurants for the last year, which might help. http://www.wilmingtonncmagazine.com/category/food

Elijah's is good as well as Front Street Brewery. Patties' Irish Pub at cotton exchange good too. For a little live music and good food as well try "Hell's Kitchen"

Try Charlie MacGrooders in Leland. They have steak, chicken, seafood and pasta dishes. Very good and reasonable! Most dishes are no more than $14.95, but a few are over that. Had the shrimp scampi this past weekend and it was great!

The Riverboat Landing is good too. With a view of the Cape Fear River!
