There are a lot of good young designers around who could make you a dress - Hupfeld Evers Hoerder, Andrew Powell (Treehouse Boutique), Michael Mausio, Lana Smith etc and there are also some good tailors - Western Tailors in Waimanu Rd, Belisa in Pratt St, Raggs in Flagstaff. You kind of have to do the rounds and check out their workmanship for yourself but they are all highly recommended by many.
