There is a battered women and children's shelter in Cumming. The location is not posted anywhere for their safety, but if you google Family Haven, and call them, she will tell you where to drop off whatever you'd like. These things go directly to the women and children in need of them. It's the best way I've found to donate, but I signed a waiver that I would not release any information on the whereabouts, etc. I have seen first hand what they do for families in need and I highly recommend them if you're wanting your items to truly help people and not become profit opportunities.
