I think Northpoint Obgyn rushes you and doesn't pay attention to detail. Sorry to disagree with some of you. But I had a bladder infection they never cultured it and gave me the wrong meds it turned into a kidney infection. My last straw with them was this past visit. Was recommend for a elective procedure. Said OK made the appointment for it had the ultra sound for it made the next appointment with Dr Barrett only to have him rush me not look at my harmone levels and say you are not a candidate for this procedure.?! What? Then if you knew thought that why the hell did you suggest it? I tell you my experience with this doctor/group is not so wonderful. So I have changed doctors to Dr Lonnie Gardiner he understands Woman and harmonies. This group has no clue. I would recommend them if you need basic care but anything else. Run.

Dr. Fryman is great if you are just wanting the yearly checks. I had issues that she chose to ignore and ended up going to Emory. I hate the fact that I have to sit in the waiting room with my cup of pee in my hand while I am waiting to be called. A little gross if you ask me.

These are doctors who meet our high standards for both clinical performance and efficiency. Going to an Aexcel specialist can lower your costs. What does Aexcel mean? You know what a network is, right? This is when a group of doctors agree to provide services to insurance companies' customers for less than they usually charge. Let's say you have an Aetna health insurance plan. When you go to a doctor in Aetna’s network, usually you pay less than when you go to a doctor who is not in the network. But within the Aetna network, there is a group of specialists who meet additional clinical quality and cost criteria. These specialists receive the Aexcel designation.
