As of June 1, 2014 medical card added adults back to the dental side of it. There is a co pay of $3.90. Also if you are an existing patient of say, rea clinc, you must pay for the initial exam. Dr. Rubinaker works outta Carmi and Harrisburg. They don't use gas tho. If you need to be gassed, rea Clinic will do it but you have to pay outta pocket for it the day of treatment

Shawnee Dental in Marion, Carbodale, and Murphysboro all take medical card and also have a sliding scale based on income. They just pulled 5 teeth for $3.90 two weeks ago. Im getting permanent dentures.
