Recommendations for a dog trainer or doggie boot camp? I have a 6 month old German Shephard that could learn better manners. TIA

Group with us is $150 for 6 sessions through Swedesboro Animal Hospital but I do not allow dogs into class without a thorough evaluation and potentially some remedial training. It is not fair to the dog to put it in a distracting environment and ask it to learn. It is also not fair to the other participants as these dogs tend to be disruptive at times, making in harder for everyone else. The emphasis in our program is on quality and results. We retrain a lot of dogs that have been through group classes and passed just fine but couldn't transition to the home environment. It's pretty fair to say I've retrained a dog from every local trainer I can think of.

^^^^ Kristy Mroz Kazelskis ^^^ mentioned group we have been doing at the park. This did not happen for any of those dogs without several private sessions and some group classes at Swedesboro Animal Hospital in the classroom. The dogs mentioned were all highly reactive at the beginning, meaning they barked and lunged when other people and dogs were too close. You can find some footage of the class on our Facebook page of how they look now.
