I use Lake Engines and Auto Repairs, they're the suzuki place in town. Super lovely and have no problem explaining exactly what they are doing. A few places in town just seem to do it and give you a massive bill!

i went to Taupo auto electrical services 20 Runanga St . Mine cost me just over $400 but i had other stuff they had to do aswell. Like i needed a new pulley coz it broke when they took it off, and i needed a few other small things done. Best thing would be to go in and get them to tell you if thats what it is then find one on trademe or something. Because it is quite an expensive fix if thats the issue. what kind of car do you have?? Shaynah Pihema?

Your best bet would be to get the battery load tested, jump start it and take the car some were that checks battery's Ace electrical in Manuka. St or most tyre shops will have testers rather then paying some one to come tell u your battery buggerd most will charge. Mimunim of 30 bucks to do that

Dave at D.A.M Automotive in the same carpark as repco. Absolutely amazing mechanic. Very reasonably priced, honest and very genuine guy to deal with. Get all our work done there and not a complaint or problem to be made.
