He has been around for years and is an advocate for this sort of thing. he could at least give you advice of what you may be able to do. Anything to stop another poor animal going through this.

Only go to Vetcare...it is nonrofit, they are absolutely brilliant, lovely to you and animals. I do foster care for 8 yrs here for SPCA, Dog Pound and CARE, plus my own rescues of kittens, puppies, cats and dogs. I KNOW prices here in Taupo. Desexing at Vetora in Totara Point is approximately 25 % cost of Vetplus. I was a vetplus client for years, they are lovely too BUT my work colleague just paid $205.00 to get his cat done, Vetora was $55.00, HUGE difference. I work for the government here so not paid heaps, plus I feed 4 colonies of ferals EVERY day on top of my foster bubs....go to Vetora, tell them Claudette recommended you, they are so so lovely at so much less money

CARE Op Shop, also in Totara Street may be able to get you a community services card but even without it, great prices. And no, I do not get a commission if you go. lol. I just like them this much.
