I highly recommend Dr. Watch. She sees my 2 and 4 year old grand daughters is very gentle with them and explains everything. Parents stay in the exam room also. She puts movies on for the kids; lets them feel all the dental instruments before she put them in the child's mouth. I'm a nurse and because of this am very pickey when It comes to dentists!

Switched over.from another dentist was crap. Tryed to send me to Bakersfield.telling me I needed all four wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Heer pulled the one I needed pulled. Said I didn't have to get all others.I made the apt they did the job that day.no pain Very nice people.

I loved Dr. Kam. But then when he was doing a root canal on me one time, the drill bit broke off in my canal. So he had to send me to Capital Dental in Bakersfield to get it fixed and I have just been going there ever since. I really did like Dr. Kam though and I don't blame him for what happened. Apparently that happens a lot! LOL.

out of those choices, Dr Kam would be my choice. He was gentle with my kids. But, if Dr Hayashi is back in the OMNI building in Tehachapi, then he is a great choice too - very good and gentle.

Dr Kam has a very tight schedule, only works 3 days a week I believe, but the staff are usually good about fitting you in quickly if you're in pain. I've been going to him for years and I'm happy.

New building on Valley is Dr Kerr. Dr Wells, Dr Kerr and Dr Jones are the best in town. It's a personal preference. Certain people click with certain offices. You should do your research with your insurance and see who is in and out of network for you if money is a big factor. Root canals alone can run $900-$1500 without insurance plus a crown afterwards. It adds up

My husband went to him to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Not impacted or anything, easy removal, but it did have a pretty bad cavity. Dr Heer spent a good 20 min trying to convince him to save the tooth and have a root canal done... On a freaking wisdom tooth??? My husband finally had to say to him... I'm NOT getting a root canal on a wisdom tooth. Are you going to pull it or not! He finally did pull it. Don't even get me started on his staff (wife and daughter), not only are they rude but his wife messed up the insurance billing and we then received a huge bill from them. Was an overall nightmare, never again!
