The collars are unpleasant to the dog, not painful or "nasty". We have a fantastic trainer who recommended the collar and I trust him fully. We ordered it from gundogsupply.com and had someone send it from the US

plz dont buy those collars its not the way to work the dog it can just make the problem worse or make other problems. Leave him with music on, buy a kong and stuff it with yummy food and give him when u leave. also cnsult with a trainer, he will be able to diagnoze if the barking is due to separation anxiety or bordom (two different things with different solutions).
