Good liquor stores? Also local beer recommendations! Hello all,
I'm coming into town from Kentucky for a wedding at the end of the month and was hoping to try a bunch...

If you're already going to Stone, they are the area distributor for Russian River and will usually have a good selection of their beers on tap. Stone's selection of beers (on tap & bottled) is huge and I guess since here in CA, Stone is now EVERYWHERE, it's usually the the last thing I order when at the brewery because they have so many others that you won't find everywhere. Unfortunately, the only beers you can take home from Stone, are Stone. The only place that I know of that carries bottled Russian River in the area is [Baron's Market](http://www.baronsmarket.com/category/locations/temecula/). If you're looking for Pliny the Elder or Blind Pig then you might wanna call ahead to see if they have it in stock but they usually have others that aren't in the refrigerated section. There may be some liquor stores that carry it, but I'm not too familiar with the area. I'm not sure how long you plan on being in Temecula, but I would recommend visiting the microbreweries. There are 5 of them that are all within 3 miles of each other. Some of them are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. If you can't go to all of them, what I usually do, is start at Refuge Brewery. They focus on belgian style beers but do have a variety of others. Right now, they are pouring barrel aged reserves that are excellent! Most of the other breweries seem to brew towards the whole Hop-Lover movement, which, if you're looking for RR, you're probably into so the next place I would go is right across the street to Wein's who will have a good variety of IPA's to try. If you're still wanting to try another, I usually end up at Black Market since they close at 9:00 and most of the others are closed by 8:00. I didn't expect to type this much... but if you visit Old Town Temecula, stop by and have lunch at Public House... GREAT food and GREAT beer that will feature some of the local breweries that I just mentioned.

Baron's at Rancho California and Meadows Pkwy has a pretty awesome selection of bottles. BONUS: Pick up a CA Burrito at Albertos, right next store!

Thanks for the help everyone! Seems like Baron's is the place to get bottles, and that there's plenty to do and drink in town!
