Plumber=J & C plumbing (Steven Iafrate) 201-768-2127. He worked with me long distance on fixing things at my mother's house. Very nice guy! I did see a "Chubby Hubby" handyman at the local(Windmill?)hardware store last year...had a nice van with logo etc., but don't know much about him. If you can't find a listing, that hardware store might know who he is as he was buying parts etc.

I know Bob Connolly and his brothers had a business last time I was in Closter. Lives next door to his family on high street in the old Jimmy Vize home, next to the Burns family. I could continue but I would end up in Creskill but the time I did the "next door to etc' !!! Memories of my paper route. Not sure what they are licensed to do -- but they were great when I was home. I know anyone who recommends anyone on this board is above board -- no pun intended. That is why we call Closter Family and while in my view, we may disagree heatedly on political issues, we can all agree Closter was a wonderful place to grow up. Beaver, Lumpy, Whitey,Eddie Haskell, Ward and June would be jealous!!!!!!

And comes from good stock -- a great family. But I have no doubt any recommendations from Jim Brown or anyone on this board would not be equally helpful. That why Closterites stick together. Thanks Judy. Glad Bob did a good job for you. He moved in next to his folks to be close to them -- I remember last time I saw him I did not recognize this huge guy standing in front of me. Because prior to that, it was probably 1968 when I saw him as Larry and I headed down to the Jersey Shore and this little tyke, Bobby, would be waving from his bike in the driveway. Believe he marred a woman from Closter -- his dad owned an insurance company. Name escapes me but it was down by the old fire station. She was, last time I was in Closter, on Channel 5 I believe.
