OT, does anyone know of a good family doctor taking new patients? Or even how I would go about finding a doctor?
TIA

250-635-2229(BABY) is the prenatal clinic but we will need a referral from a GP, if no family Doctor then an on call Doctor! Hope you found the info you were looking for!

Lovely ladies, I'm so very sorry, but I have to confirm what Janette Searle Hovanes has shared~there is no midwife in the Terrace-Kitimat area sadly. <3 Angela Smith once served this area (until this January) but is now just serving the Hazelton area. Please note though, that you can always drive to Hazelton to have your baby with her~you might just have to meet her there for appointments too though, unfortunately. I really hope you can find someone caring to deliver your baby~be sure to shop around and find a doctor that you feel so comfortable with.:)

I don't have a family doctor but am seeing Dr. Meyburg regularly for prenatal appts as he is obligated to follow the pregnancy after a drop in appt. the prenatal clinic can take you but I think it's after 20 weeks.
There is a prenatal clinic at the medical building. Regardless of having a family dr you would go there. If you call the offices they can reffer you. 615-5030
