If u want your car up there... We use a really cheap lot through www.airportparkingreservations.com .. We use the intercontinental hotel garage, which is indoors and we pay 7.20 a day plus there was a 5.00 service fee but they shuttle you over and you pick up their shuttle on the way back. We have used it three times now and it's been great plus it was less than paying for a taxi or limo for us with no extra tipping needed.

There are a few things to see, but honestly outside of the awesome beaches it is just simply a desert. It is definitely worth renting a car for a day or two and checking it out. I recommend Baby Beach for some awesome snorkeling. The Island is only about 20 miles from end to end and about 6 deep. You can definitely cover it easily in a day. There is a store right beside the resort and you can get a good deal renting a car at the Resort. Enjoy your trip.

Cathy Hansen, there are also bikes all over town that you can rent and return at other rental stations. Really cool way to get around quicker and keep moving, especially down by North Lake Shore, Navy Pier, and Museum Campus!!
