Juliet Mills, 9 is not at all old for a Peke and her other behaviors have not changed. She is pretty smart. But I will mention all this when we take her to the vet.
Lisa O. replied:
I know Haley's a dog and I'm talking cat here, but both dogs and cats can develop dementia. My old lady cat (she passed in January at almost 22) developed dementia when she was about 17 and while she retained the whole pooping in the litterbox idea, she began peeing in a galvanized bucket I stored all my flip flops in in my bedroom closet. Her physical health was good for her age...her mind just wasn't cooperating anymore. At 9, if Haley checks out in good physical health, dementia is something that should be considered, too. :-( http://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/neurological/c_dg_cognitive_dysfunction_syndrome
I'm sorry if this is not aloud but we moved down here almost a month ago from pa and my 20 week old pug is constantly biting the hair off his rear end he's had he flea...

If you go to youngs ask for Dr Gorden he is great.
Lori R. replied:
Sunrise Animal Hospital on Hopkins, dr. Ely is awesome with smaller dogs/animals. Her prices ate reasonable and a very nice staff. If you need another referral. Oatmeal shampoos also work good to reduce itching, redness and swelling due to insect bites or allergies.
Amber W. replied:
I found that Sunshine Animal Hospital is about $5 more than the spca but they got me in on the same day without a long wait. The spca couldn't get me in for 3 weeks.

Hello Titusville. I'm looking for one of those Hover Round wheel chairs for a disabled VET. Something that is dependable with the charger etc. You can donate? Or I may...
New to the area...I am looking for a reasonable vet and groomer for my little one
Susan N. replied:
Juanita Barnwell at Petco is the best groomer to use. SPCA has low-cost vet service, too, at their clinic on Hwy 50.:)
Suzanne N. replied:
Garden Street Animal Hospital. Handle the grooming myself.:-)

Julie's Mobile Grooming is awesome!

Thanks guys! I decided to go with Julie's Mobile Grooming. Julie was awesome and my baby loved her! Thanks Julie!
Barb H. replied:
Sunrise Vet Clinic (Dr Marcia Ely) is good and very reasonably priced. They are at the end of Hopkins where it meets US 1.
Samantha C. replied:
Pet Resorts & Spa is awesome for grooming. I have thought about trying Julies Mobile Grooming but havent yet.
Kathy P. replied:
Julies Mobile Grooming is wonderful!!! The benefit is it is less stress on your baby by not having to go for a ride. She does my three dogs and it is great!

I've tried many and April at Pet Masters is the best I have found

Does anyone recommend a vet around Tville or Port St. John, maybe? I have one and my dog's shots and annual check-up are coming up and I really do not feel like going in...
Traci M. replied:
Have you used Dr. Sproc? We had him and loved their place.
Linda S. replied:
We have used Dr. Sproc for over 15 years. Also, close to you is the SPCA clinic. The SPCA clinic is very reasonable.
Linda S. replied:
The drawback to Dr. Sproc these days is that he is pretty much a vaccination & check up kind of doc. Lately when my dogs have gone in, each time he refers them to another doctor instead of running tests, etc.
JoAnne M. replied:
I know someone who gets goughed from Dr. Sproc too, but they may have had bad luck with doggy health. Does the SPCA give you any guidance, like tell you what you need or do you have to know what you need? I think I'm just up for rabies. I guess I could look everything up online and then go to the SPCA.
Debbie B. replied:
Dr Stevens in PSJ is really good. He isn't pushy and takes time to explain things.
Is there a vet who specializes in reptiles (snakes) on this site?
Danielle S. replied:
Winter Park Veterinary Hospital sees exotics and would likely be able to help while Dr. Bruce is away. What area are you trying to find a vet in?
Christi B. replied:
One in melbourne I'd recommend at Animal Medical Clinic. Hes been good with all of ours and knows his stuff. I know its a bit far, but if you can't find one closer he may be an option.
Audra S. replied:
If you're looking for someone close, Dr. Guttery at Port St. John Veterinary Hospital will see exotic animals.
i was coming home from work and at the light in pleasentville i heard this poor puppy crying so of course i stopped and picked him up.he is in desperate need of a vet...
