I have eczema and rosacea treated it with Elidel. Not sure if it is available over the counter, but I started with my family doctor. Never had to see a dermatologist because it worked right away! My boys had seen Dr. Hope Mitchell in Perrysburg and she was excellent.

Lisa my daughter has scalp psoriasis - very difficult to treat. Dr. Thompson finally referred her up to the U of M Derm Clinic. We both love Jenna's doctor there and feel she is getting good care. Psoriasis can be difficult so just know you have options:)

Not sure why lots of blood work would be needed first - probably depends on what the problem is. But if Dr. Acula has that done routinely on all patients 'first', it makes me wonder if it's not just padding the bill. I've been seeing Dr. Anders on & off for over 25 yrs & he's never once needed blood work done.

Have you tried Clinique face wash? I had perfect skin until 20 then it was awful!! I tried everything including proactive and it didn't seem to work. Then Kelly Kimmelman suggested Clinique and I LOVE it!!!! It's the only face wash that's ever actually worked for me!
