Dr rich is great. I work at the hosp with him. Dr Veronica at the U is also fabulous. We see her- she is so close to home. I have never had any issues there at the U

My kids also see Dr. Veronica at the UofU clinic....I Adore her...so do my kids. She is so great about giving me all the info, and tools to treat my kids. She is so wonderful, I've never been turned down for a same day appointment, and since my Dr is over there too, I've scheduled back to back appointments for my kids and I, and they completely accommodated us. I love the ladies at the pharmacy, and for me, nothing beats the location....

Dr. Rich has my vote. Love him!!

Dt Gould is AWESOME!!!

Dr. Gould is a good pediatrician. I have never had any complaints with U of U, care has been exceptional.

Dr. Rich is so great! The kids LOVE him, and he is very knowledgeable. Also his secretary is very sweet and makes you feel great when you call.

The pediatrician the UofU clinic is great the call center that you have to talk to isn't always the easiest to deal with. Just an FYI the calls go to a central location some of the time you never know where your actually calling. We also like Dr Steven Rich his office has always been friendly as well.

Everyone at Dr. Gould's office is amazing! I love that they have an after hours that doesn't require an appointment open till 10. They are wonderful with my kids.

Bonneville Family is amazing as well!

Dr Gould is Awesome! Though his office can get pretty busy appointments can be several days out sometimes. There is a new Pediatrician just passed the Tooele Maverick, it is called Wellsprings Pediatrics, ran by Dr. Steven Rich.

I really like Dr Veronica as well. And as mentioned, the phones are answered by a call bank in Salt Lake. The people at the Stansbury Clinic are really nice. It's a rural clinic and that's why it can get confusing for the receptionists about who's in or not. They all work at 2 or 3 clinics. Dr. Veronica lives in the county and I like that too.

We go to Mountian West Pediatrics(Dr. Gould) across from Home Depot. I love that they have evening and weekend hours. I love all the PA's there. I have heard good things about Dr Veronica and Dr Rich though.

I also really love Dr. Veronica, but was frustrated, as well, this last couple of weeks at how hard it's been to get my son in. He went off cancer treatment six weeks ago, and he has a rash that developed right after he stopped his chemo. The oncologists say it's not cancer related, but I'm anxious about it, and we can't get him in to see anyone at the U of U clinic to save our lives. Super frustrating. Not her fault at all, but still... As far as patient care, she's excellent. Goes above and beyond.

Thank you so much, Timothy! My son is good, though. In the clear. Now we just have to monitor the after effects, which is why I'm so particular about having a fantastic pediatrician, and we really do love Dr. Veronica. I was so sad about Ethan, too. He had the same cancer as my son, and it just kept coming back. They only found out a few weeks ago that they were out of options. The other two in my profile picture died pretty suddenly, too. All within 24 hours. Awful. A great way to help is to donate blood to ARUP, which is the only company that supplies Primary Children's, and also to join the bone marrow registry at bethematch.org. It's free, and puts you into a national registry for life. I'm rather sure all three kids in my profile picture got none marrow transplants. Thanks for expressing such empathy and concern! I go take my girls to stansbury U of U to Dr. Veronica. I know a lot of peeps that like Gould's.. But i have home births and there are things i decided against, and when i brought my 2 wk old there... They did not like that and it seemed to be all they cared about... What i didn't do and need to do....Not what i was there for and what my concerns were..

I take my 3 kids to Dr Veronica Szalkowski-Lehane (aka "Dr Veronica) at the U of U clinic right here in Stansbury Park. She is down to earth and genuinely concerned about her patients. She is the kind of Dr that if she doesn't have the answer she will keep looking until she finds the answer. Good Luck!

I take my kids to Dr. Gould's office. I typically see his PAs for checkups and minor things like ear infections, etc., and only see Dr. Gould for things that seem a bigger to me. The reason I only see Dr. Gould for the bigger things is because he is usually behind schedule. And, in my experience with him, the reason he runs behind schedule is because he DOESN'T rush. He has always taken all of the time necessary to answer all of my questions and has never made me feel insignificant or rushed. He's a great doctor, and his PAs are all amazing as well. But, again, he does run behind on his scheduling so if that totally bugs you, then either try to get the earliest appointments in his day or opt for a different doctor's office. I'm sure the other doctors are great too!

We see Dr. Gould's office as well..but we get in with the PA..I think his name is Ferguson...or starts with an F. And we really like him and he doesn't run behind. Always timely. And very good. If not there is Dr. Steven Rich that just came here and is at the wing behind the hospital. He is my neighbor and a very sweet nice man. He owuld probably be great too.

Hi my friend, Jeanne. Interesting that this thread is here, because I saught out a Stansbury Park group just now for this very reason. For help finding a pediatrician. I've heard before that everyone loves Dr. Gould, but I've also heard that he rushes. How would you guys weigh in? My son is about to finish up cancer treatment and I need a doc for him who will take his medical history very seriously and take the time to really think through the things that happen to him. Also someone who will be patient with a neurotic, scared mom, who can talk me down with rational explanations. I feel like I'm kinda leaning towards Dr. Veronica.

I think there is someone where in Stansbury too....at the U? Never been there though. I have heard great things about Dr. Rich and also Dr Taveras? I think that is how you spell her name. It honestly just depends on the person.

We go to Dr. Jim Gould. He is at Mountain West Pediatrics. They are in the complex across from Home Depot on the second floor.

oh man that sucks. I think you will really like Dr. Gould and his staff. that is just my opinion though.

Dr. Gould doesn't rush at all. He does take his time. He is wonderful. He is the ped for both my kids and I have never had a complaint about him. And the 1 PA there that we always see has practiced even longer than Gould has. He has been around for a really really long time and he is super with my kids. He plays with them and keeps them calm which is wonderful after having cancer. He makes them laugh each visit. And they have the nighttime kids care walks from 5 til 10 every night which has been a life saver many times. I can't say enough about them.

U of U: Dr. Szalkowski or PA Johanna Greenburg, Wellspring Peds: Dr. Rich. All of them are kind, listen and address any concerns, and explain things in an easy to understand way.

Dr Veronica is very down to earth, non judgmental, friendly, doesn't blow you off, and doesn't make you sit in the waiting room forever either.

I use Dr Veronica as well....she is so great with my kids, and offers many natural solutions, rather than medicine. Also, the U clinic has a great staff, and pharmacy....if needed. Very close and convenient

Dr. Veronica!!! U of U Stansbury Health Center! She is awesome. I never feel rushed and she always answers all my questions without making me feel like they are silly. Also, I always get in a room at the time of my appt. I've never had to wait forever for my child to be seen.

Me and Courtney love Dr Gould. They are open until 10 pm, walk ins after 5. All 3 of his PA's are wonderful.. I've never had any complaints.

I love Dr. Rich with wellsprings pediatrics' he is great and is great with Todd. I have heard good things about both DR traveras and dr. Gould too, just at Dr Gould office you usually see a physician's assistant instead of the actual pediatrician.
