Looking for a boat mechanic. I know it needs a starter solenoid. Probably more. Not looking to get raked over the coals, but I want someone who knows what the hell...
Brian P. replied:
Where are you from, where is the boat? Automotive Electric in Lawrence will rebuild a bad starter, possibly charge less in labor and have faster turn around. An old boat like that is really not hard to turn a few wrenches and then just take the starter in for rebuild.

Having general inspection is always wise when getting into a new boat and trailer. Minor cost compared to getting in over your head. Brandon Hensley is in Tongie and may be able to help if you are looking to save some money over a shop rate. B.O.A.T.
