Time Warner and New Century are the two I know of. I've got TW and don't have really anything to complain about other then I know I'm not getting the 100 meg a second I'm paying for.

Gardner is the test area for time Warner. You will either get faster speeds with higher latency or lower wr speeds with nominal latency. To answer the original post, "best" depends on needs. Basic browsing = just get something cheap. Streaming Netflix or some similar video service, avoid CenturyLink, and get a mid teir Speed package from time Warner

Not Always best. There are advantages in non open source servers trust on that one. But. I prefer it open as well
