Also...if you run with your phone, mapmyrun.com has a gps app. If you listen to music from your phone while running, it will say your pace per mile at each mile marker. I use my garmin just because it's kind of awkward to start and stop the mapmyrun app since I carry my phone in an arm band. Just some things to think about.
