People need to calm down and read through first. Magnutz has already apologized, it was a rash judgement. Magnutz DeLeon, perhaps a edit on your post is in order. People are missing the apology later and just focusing on that post.

Can anyone highly recommend an orthopedic doctor surrounding Torrington? And had good experience with them?

Heather C. replied:
Dr Wish which is in the same office with Dr McCarthy. He is also good.
Tara-leigh L. replied:
I would not recommend any Doctor in the NWC I do not mean to be negative but as a patient, I would seek outside our area. Dr. Batson from Neurosurgical Associates of Southwestern Ct. I would trust him, his staff and affiliation with Danbury Hospital. Remember your Health is in a team care approach, all involved needs to be of a concern, not just the Doctor. Best of luck to you.
Midge C. replied:
Depends on what you need an orthopedic doctor for. If it is for a shoulder Dr. Nissen at UCONN is tops. He did my husband's shoulder when every other doctor, even the Hartford Whalers doctor, said they wouldn't even touch it. I hear that Dr. Wisch in Torrington is great for wrists. For anything else, you might want to look outside the area. It's best to go a hospital where the surgeon does the procedure you need every day, many times a day.
Joan K. replied:
Dr. Penney. I have had several surgeries and great results. He also is the doc for THS athletes. For back go to Dr. Rafferty in Middlebury. He operates at Waterbury Hosp.

I will miss Matt Smith, but I think David Tennant is my favorite. I was happy to see Tom Baker in the special, but not quite in the same capacity as I was hoping form. Still... so exciting! Now to wait for Christmas when Moffit makes us all cry by killing off 11.:(
