Congrats! We went to a friend's wedding last year and they had red rooster cater for chicken and sides and then a few home cooked pasta dishes. I make cakes from home if you would like to have a look at my page and let me know if you have any ideas of what you would like and I could give you a quote to consider. Enjoy planning your special day! One more thing - I found if I said we were having a family reunion BBQ when booking tables and chairs and glasses it was cheaper than when I said I was having a wedding reception! Not all places hike up the price but a few did. - I rang every place twice checking the prices. www.facebook.com/PaperPans

We catered at home for 170 people. We did pea and ham soup, pumpkin soup, stew, butter chicken and spaghetti. Dessert was DIY meringue nests, slow cooker choc pudding, rice pudding and tim tam cake. Pre cooked and froze food in 9L batches and had an open fire with pots to heat up on the night. Had a kitchen crew of friends of about 10 looking after the serving. I got palm leaf plates from the website below, very good quality I would highly reccomend them :) http://earthens.com.au

I got married there at the end of June. Golden Roast were our caterers as well, and they were great! The staff at the Tea Rooms were wonderful, and we had our wedding cake made by Shelley at Wendy's in Castletown:-) We also hired strings of fairy lights from Pure AV, which created a beautiful atmosphere!:-)
Hi guys just wondering if anyone can give me recommendations on a caterer ?
Jade L. replied:
Jamie-Leigh McDonald
Jamie-Leigh M. replied:
I had chef on call. Great food as he's an actual chef not just a "caterer" and his price beat that of any Townsville caterer and you can change it all to suit you.
Looking for someone who can do a couple of roasts for 18th bday ? Recommendations for awesome affordable catering for about 40-50
