Still looking for a FANTATSIC pig veterinarian, my vet doesn't see pigs, need one close to home...Trail BC ..????
Jim R. replied:
What about Chris Chart at Selkirk. He's a livestock vet by training. Has been super helpful with our hogs.
Mountain F. replied:
Creston Vet clinic is who we use for our pigs
Michael G. replied:
Dr Chart in Nelson or the vet in Rock Cr. Only livestock Vets around.
Jennifer D. replied:
Dr. Chart saw our friends pig last week.
Kristine G. replied:
Dr Ruth Simms from Grand Forks is great!
Jim R. replied:
Ruth comes out this way every week or two and I like her. I believe she is scheduled out this way next Friday. Chris Chart is really good. I would highly recommend him. Over the years he has helped us out of more jams than I can possibly list. He is closer and with a small pig, very easy to go see him too. If you have issues straightening this out, let me know and I would be more than happy to call Chris on your behalf but I doubt that would be necessary. He doesn't do farm visits any longer but if you bring the animal to him, he's more than happy to help.
Desperately seeking a kind-hearted veterinarian in the Kootenay-Boundary area!
I rescued a stray cat in need of medical attention! Please send suggestions!
