He said he doesn't normally come out to Troy so a date that works might be in little ways in the future, but I'll throw another name out there: [KT Electric \(Ken Tibbitts\)](http://www.ktelectric.org/). They did a lot of work in 4 hours and it cost me $600. Removing a ton of live and unsafe underground wiring in the yard from an old pond set-up and getting the outside lights working again, repairing and installing a bunch of new switches and sockets, and a lot of other little stuff that had just been neglected for years that was causing quality of life issues. Our fuse box is also a mess (double-tapped) and he quoted full replacement (labor and parts) at $800, which is extremely reasonable. That's a project that'll probably happen soon enough.
