Are there any good attorneys on here that specialize in car accidents? I have some questions. I got hit head on by a 16 year old kid who was possibly drunk or on pills....
Michelle C. replied:
You should contact MADD. They will get you in touch with the right people. They also have crime victims advocates available that work with the local da. I was recently hit by a drunk as well, in Truckee. It sucks, I still have major anxiety, it is not a fun process. Be patient! Oh, we are using Tom Archer - in Truckee. He seems great! Good luck with everything. Lauralee, is the Truckee advocate, she has been amazing.

Robert Kilby in Reno! Best attorney ever! He was so good to me with my wreck. I have sent four friends to him too, and they have not stopped thanking me. He's so awesome, attentive and knowledgeable. Call him! 337-6670. Love him! Don't wait as time is critical. Let him talk to the insurance companies for you. It's free to meet with him and since the wreck was not your fault you won't pay a dime. He will help take your stress away. He did mine. Sorry it happened. Hope you heal fast.
Does anyone have an attorney (in Truckee) that they would recommend to draw up trust documents, etc?

Needing recommendations for a family law attorney who specializes in fathers rights in the Truckee or surrounding areas.
Christine M. replied:
I hear Marilyn York is a father fighter!
Stefan M. replied:
If you need some advice, please PM me as I just went through a very difficult and painful custody battle myself but I was victorious and it all worked out. I have one lawyer who was amazing but I reside in Nevada and the case was in Nevada too (reno). Please, stay strong, stay positive, and stay smart. Do not ever give up if children are involved.... Please. And even if you just need someone to talk to who’s been there and done that, I’d be happy to help. Another thing I STRONGLY recommend is a Facebook page cal https://www.facebook.com/342469599116872 led The Fathers' Rights Movement and they helped me tremendously and kept me strong and positive. You’re not alone and I can (and will) help you.
Amie G. replied:
Reno- Marilyn York is the best but I don’t know if that helps.
Christy P. replied:
My husband is a family law atty. He has offices in Sacramento and the Bay Area but is willing to help in truckee. We have our second home in Tahoe Donner. Porrino Law PC. My husband thinks that the whole idea of “fathers have no rights” is ridiculous because in the state of CA that’s not the case! Let us know if he can help!
Chris P. replied:
Brent Collinson in Truckee did a great job for me and Trilla (in Tahoe City) was a more than fair and impartial commissioner. Avoid Rolf Godon if at all possible - his professionally lazy and incompetent work was ultimately what allowed my daughter to be moved (500 miles) away by her mother.
To the nice lady who posted on my inquiry regarding a recommendation for a Family Law attorney .... you mentioned disciplinary action referring to Avvo records and you...
