Anyone know of a good children's dentist that can extract a tooth. Christopher cracked his tooth somehow & the tooth is falling apart. He's in pain especially to eat so...
Callie H. replied:
We go to Tucson Smiles in Rita Ranch. We have been really happy with them. Never had any dental work done though...just cleaning and check ups...
Help! We need a GOOD dentist! We need to find a good family dentist or a pediatric dentist and an adult dentist. We have Raytheon Dental Net insurance. Does anyone...
Beth D. replied:
Hubrich Dental is the best but they don't take insurance. You pay and they will submit it for you and you get reimbursed by your insurance (for the portion they cover).
Adelita G. replied:
Dr Jeffrey Derickson for adults but they also will work on children. Pediatric dentist Dr. Dubois
Debra J. replied:
Dr. Jesse Brewer at Associated Dental.

Lindsey F. replied:
Dr Leong, Bear Canyon Dentistry has been great. I actually drove up to them to get my crown done. He doesn't do anything that doesn't have to be done. Very ethical.
Rachael R. replied:
We love Dr. Hawke near Pima and Swan. He's great with all of us.
Aileen B. replied:

We LOVE Dr. Don at Riverwalk Dental! His office is at Alvernon and Ft. Lowell. We all see him and so does our extended family. He is out of network for our current dental plan but we still pay less than we would at several in-network offices that we checked.

Any recommendations for a great pediatric dentist in the NW area?
Lizette P. replied:
Paulette goes to Dr. Norman Bunch@NW Children's Dentistry too & they are great! She is very comfortable going there! They put glasses on them & have tv's above the bed when they do more detailed work. It's a husband & wife team. They are reasonablly priced too! He didn't have to put her under but used "laughing" gas instead, which is way better all the way around! 544-8522/ 7610 N. La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85741. Tell them we referred u...
Melissa V. replied:
Yes. Nw children's dentistry is great. The staff and Dr. Bunch are awesome.
Michelle A. replied:
I worked for an othordontist on the NW side. our top pediatric dentists were Dr. Bunch and his wife Dr. Marshall at NW childrens dentistry or Dr. Hishaw at Tucson SMiles both are great and have great offices. I take dominiq to dr bunch and he does great over there.
Raquel A. replied:
Dr Bunch at Northwest Children's Dentistry. They are awesome.
Priscilla M. replied:
Omgsh you guys are awesome! My own dentist recommended Dr. Hishaw, but I wanted to hear what you all thought. It sounds like I'll love either one. Matthew can sometimes be nervous around people he doesn't know, and the hair clippers freak him out, so I'm worried about how a stranger trying to stick a dental tool in his mouth will scare him. I'm pretty sure he might need some work done
What are your recommendations for a children's dentist here in Tucson?
Mikaela H. replied:
When I was a kid (through like age 26...) I went to see Dr. Hubrich in Tucson. He's on the waaay east side of town http://www.hubrichdental.com/

Urgent Care Dental on Campbell... I believe it's $180 for an extraction... Really good place! That's all they do. No insurance needed
Abbey S. replied:
St. Elizabeth has dental services sometimes. Try calling Pima county health department. Unfortunately dental services can be hard to come by for the uninsured. If you have an infection you need to seek medical care for antibiotics ASAP. Good luck
Diane T. replied:
El Rio Clinic.
Mary K. replied:
Pima College has a dental program that asks for patients.
Susan G. replied:
Go to Dental Laser in Nogales, not free but fantastic office that won't empty your pocket! Their equipment is newer than anything I have seen in Tucson. They are open Saturday's and will accept emergency walk in's. I worked in dentistry for 8 yrs. and we are getting all our work done there now. prevention there is cheaper than waiting and less painful, pay now or later. Yes, they do implants as well.
Sally L. replied:
Call El Rio Health Center on Congress..I went there for practically nothing. They go on sliding scale I think...They have a dental clinic.
Mommies, If any of you know of a good pediatric dentist in the Tucson area please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Harrison and 22 nd. Next to Panda Express and cost cutters. That's where Austin goes and they do really good. Ill message their number to you
Dew B. replied:
Did you ever find one? If so, how'd it go? Mama and I go to Swan dental and Dr. Echols has a bunch of kids but I don't know how much work he does with children. Sounds fishy to have all that work done on baby teeth.
Need a pediatric dentist on the east side. Love Hubrich but she doesn't take our insurance. Any other recommendations?
Alicia M. replied:
We love Dr. Allen at Aeris on on rita east of houghton
Jayne N. replied:
