Wanda Wheeler does minor repairs, but there's a great seamstress she uses for bigger things. Ophelia's Alterations at 531.1605....not sure if that number is still current
can anyone in Tucson recommend a tailor or seamstress to make minor alterations to a leather jacket?

I have an idea, JoAnne, and she is right in the 'hood. I use a little old lady who I doubt could do leather, but someone just gave me this card: Southwestern Belle & Design, Erin Cox, 520-955-3719. 70 W. Kennedy.

yes. There is a lady on tanque verde road who specializes in leather. As you head east she is on the right side of the road across from that miniature golf place. I think it's "Alterations Etc." 6590 E Tanque Verde, 296-0575. By appointment only. They altered a leather coat that Tuffy left me.

Can anyone refer a seamstress to me? I have been going to Mendel's Wife but they are overpriced. Many thanks

A K Tailors on Broadway near Craycroft. The woman that owns it is super sweet and does a wonderful job. She can be a little pricey, but it's worth it. She tailors anything from work clothes to jeans to wedding dresses. Came highly recommended from Yelp and many of my co-workers, including the president of our company. Hope that helps you on your search!:)

Do you have nanny experience? I have worked with Trusting Connections Nanny Agency on marketing, and they are a great company to work for. Not sure if they are actively looking for nannies, but worth a try.
