Best bang for the buck re: internet is DSL via AT&T, but you have to be within a couple of miles of the Montague Post Office. If you're further out, Root Automation is the best option. A bit pricey, esp. for higher speeds, but very reliable, and wonderful people.

> 6.2 Mbps down Yep, that's good, that's probably the level of service you're paying for. Download speed is the one that most matters to most folks. I'd forgotten that Northland services Montague. Not sure how far out of town they go. For comparision: in town, AT&% tends to run between 2 and 6 Mbps down. I do have customers in town who have Northland's 12 Mbps service. They get that during the day, but it can go as low as 0.5 Mbps at night [when lots of folks are watching Netflix or Hulu or playing online games]. Root Automation, as noted above, is pricey. But often the only option, and quite high quality service and people. $40/month for 0.384 Mbps, $60 for 1.1 Mbps, $80 for 1.5 Mbps, $100 for 2.3 Mbps.
