I have been going to Dr Austin R Smith on college street for maybe 15 years. He used to be on Yelm hwy. Anyway, I found him by calling 1-800-DENTIST and told them to match me with a dentist who specialized in traumatized patients. I had a horrible dentist as a child. His office has been wonderful to me and Steven goes there too. You can tell them I referred you if you choose to have a consult with them. Good luck!!

Dentist! Light Dental Studios! We moved here from nyc about 3 months ago and they have been amazing. I'm terrified of dentists but they are wonderful there. They even find ways to massage the costs so insurance covers more than its supposed to. I cannot recommend them enough!

Dr. Kapust in tumwater he is great. I don't recommended Dr. Danny Davidson my kids go there now because of insurance reasons and I hate it. He said that my son didn't need to be seen until he was 3 or 4 and when my daughter went to kapust they saw her 2 times by the time she was 2 1/2 and they were great with her.

I went to Dr Hein on Capitol Blvd very low key office and very kid friendly and most affordable dentist I have ever gone to and since I have dentist phobia and used to have to take valium to go and then when I found Norman Hein I didn't need it anymore. If you call him tell him I sent you he would like that.

I got my tooth removed through Sea Mar dental...they referred me to a oral/maxilofacial surgeon.

Damn, I was worried about that. I don't want the tooth removed. Sonija- Yes, we have the same insurance. Was it the Sea Mar in Tumwater, Lacey, or Olympia? Elizabeth- SeaMar Lacey only treats children, SeaMar Tumwater last I checked ( albeit it was BEFORE Apple Health Care took over ) only treats pregnant women and children, though I'm strongly considering checking in again to see if anything has changed. Also I did call the insurance company to ask them about dentists I could go to, and they just said SeaMar, and that they don't have a comprehensive list so I'd have to call each and every dental clinic individually until I found one that said they took said insurance.

Community Health Centre? Not sure I've heard of such a thing. I know there's a place in Chehalis that takes Apple Health and does not just extractions, but rails and stuff, too... BUT THAT'S CHEHALIS. Buses running to and from Chehalis are pretty few and far between, and I'm wary about not getting home in time to take care of my birds... but if this tooth gets too bad, I won't have a choice.
