I know you said a family day care but we go to teddy bears in south tweed they are amazing they provide so much for the kids and tailor play to suit individuals, they have a higher ratio of staff than required and are flexible. They always fit us in when I need a day and don't charge us when during the school holidays when Zion doesn't go also for future reference primary school that is wonderful www.sathyasaischoolaust.org all students do yoga once a week and silent sitting three times a day non-denominal and no tuition fees

Pippies Early Childhood Centre! Jack loves it! Lots of outdoor time, water play, great food provided, awesome educators and just around the corner.

After having my kids in two different family day cares and a long day centre...I can say that Smiley Tots at Chinderah have been wonderful with my kids and Northern Rivers Family Day Care providers are the pick over other providers in the area. I feel they are more tightly regulated.

Pottsville community preschool is amazing if you can work with school hours and terms for your 4 year old. Also love Bossy Boots in Kingscliff long daycare. Have used them for years and will put my 8 month daughter there too. All the staff are so amazing

there's a Montessori in Hastings Rd behind Woolworths. My now adult daughter did Montessori. It's individual-based learning. Smiley Tots in Chinderah is AWESOME!! Worth the drive to Chinderah, huge back yard for play & great early learning program & the girls there r lovely. There is never any vacancies at Pippies, always booked out years in advance.

Pottsville Community Preschool, out of all the preschools I've ever put my children in this is by far the best! I honestly can not rate it highly enough. Have a meet and greet and you'll just know:-)

I believe it depends on your child and what type of learning environment you want for your child. Go and interview them and ask all the questions straight to them and then you will know what works best for your child and family. Toddle Inn, gorgeous team. Admin gave me a few hassles but still, highly recommend simply due to the great care my little boy was given
