The Ortho Equine pads are awesome for high withers. Have removable shims on either side to raise up off withers !! They are on FB

I second that, what Karen said. the skitos are made so they tent up (this is called contoured) and will not pull down across the wither bone. You can get them in dryback or regular material. I sell them so if you need to order through me I can help you. www.sportsaddle.com
