Mark Livett, oh my I hadn't even begun to think about the color palette for Black Plague!!! I am thinking Greens and Browns for 80-90% of the figures; I'd recommend looking at Vallejo's line of camoflague colors as there are some nice flat colors in there. I'm also thinking I'll work some colors into the mix (orange, red, and blue) probably muted colors instead of really bright. Vallejo is my favorite line of paints and I'll post a list of my favorites if you're interested?
