I am looking for a webpage builder.
I hate wordpress.
I don't want a blog. I want a webpage.
Can someone recommend one that is not expensive and easy to use?

https://filezilla-project.org/ FTP Client here.... Websites can connect ms word/dreamweaver aps to the server's ip, replacing/updating webpages yer working on. They can also retrieve your files, cause sometimes the website has a builder ap, can all be online, but you MAY want a backup copy saved.... This is essential if yer making websites, imo. It's pretty easy to use even.

An Open Source Government is a BIG dream, ...but sure as hell worked for Linux!! By publicly counting issue votes, then comparing facebook logged in users for each state/province, you can REALLY generate some interesting stats, the kind that cause the corrupt to never make it past their next term elections.
Trevor T. replied:
good if they offer ftp backup....so you never lose all you build up on some site. my simple web page is here: http://www.OpenSourceG.com/ its gonna be son citizen daily vote ap site. im in way over my head so I got some rally website to help me: http://rally.org/citizenivoteap/ I hope one day to enable normals to vote alongside Senator/CEO decisions....and keeping score for future term elections. or down vote bad laws no one needs anymore.

Terry H. replied:
Okay enough of that Mike I am older than you and I have been building since 1996. You just have to have the desire to learn like anything. Did you ever hear I don't vote because I know nothing about politics? Well that's where you're at only in regards website building. Blogs are fine but many are free blogs which are again limited, in order to have a successful blog you have to post good content, but on a regular basis. One reason Laila Yuile has a popular blog. Also many blogs for whatever reason don't provide any means of contacting the blog owner which is a pet peeve of mine.

Terry H. replied:
If you don't have Dreamweaver you will find it expensive to purchase. There are free ones but you generally get what you pay for. I use Xsitepro have done since 2009 I have about 10 websites of my own and several I have built for other people. There is a great support group for this program and once you learn the basics it is easy to use. Try this link Mike if it doesn't work pm me and I'll help you through it http://bit.ly/YUYYnf

The problem is we don't have jurisdiction in other provinces and Direct Democracy at the federal level is an unattainable task. Getting DD in at the provincial level is attainable and once implemented would encourage other provinces to follow suit
