We have a constant procession from the ground to the roof but, not having access to the roof space, cannot confirm that the ants are not just going for their daily constitutional. I fear the worst, though. The parade has just resumed for 2016. Last year, I was trying to get hold of "terra fossile" (terra diatomacea, diatomite, kieselgur), or in English Diatomaceous earth or fossil flour in English http://www.perma-guard.com/products/insecticides/crawling-insect-control. Couldn't find a source, but am still interested, unless you or anyone else have any negative comments to make.
