Godavari is pretty good, south Indian. Just opened this summer. Downtown Brampton. All vegetarian menu. Unsure if they had any vegan dishes.

Hey lunaa_tic - my wife is also Veg; we recently tried http://www.twinfish.ca/ and it was delicious. I had the General Tso, she ordered a sautee'd veg dish, a tofu dish and we split a pad-thai with tofu as well - everything was delicious.

Burritoboyz!!!! A lot of veggies/vegans go there. They have bean burritos or you can get the veggie soy! Source: i work there

It's not really a vegetarian restaurant, but Sonny's on Kennedy and queen has the best vegetarian burger in the world. With a combo of onion rings I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Plus the crowd there always cracks me up. No pun intended.

I'm vegan and I usually stick to Freshly Thai, Thai Pepper and Burrito Boyz (I get sweet potato with no dairy and no guac, because they use milk in the guac). Honestly, not much else around here sadly. Your best bet is Mississauga!

West Austin Park has a fenced in off-leash dog park. There is another one at Riverside and I-35 that is fenced in, but I don't know what it's called. Auditorium Shores has an off-leash area too, but it's not fenced in. Snack Bar on S Congress has good food and a dog-friendly patio.

Thomas Cubitt is lovely but may be a bit pricey. The Phoenix is a reasonable gastropub with a nice dining room upstairs.
