Hey there. I heard that there was a bike shop somewhere near Pilgrammgasse (Metro station U4) where they sell used (probably stolen) bikes. Unfortunately I don't know the exact address..

I got myself two used bikes here: [www.zweiradortner.com](http://www.zweiradortner.com/) (Untere Augartenstraße, 2. Bezirk). It is a very small shop and I only stumbled across it because I used to live nearby. I went to like 5 shops all over town looking for a bike in the €100-200 range, and finally found it there (twice). Very friendly middle-aged couple running the shop. Great service and great prices! Although it is really small and the choices are limited.
Does anyone know of a good bike shop in the Annandale/Vienna area? I've been living here for over a year now and I've been wanting to get a bike for most of that time....

There's a pretty decent bike shop/repair place in Vienna off Maple Ave called Spokes Inc. My fiance has brought his road bike to them a couple of times for alterations and repairs and they've been very helpful and inexpensive.

I'm not sure how good it is since I'm not a cyclist, but there's Bikes@Vienna off of Church st. I only know of it because of the pasty shop that's next door to it.

[Bikenetic](http://bikenetic.com/) in Falls Church is great. Don't be put off by their website, it's a nice, non-sketchy shop.
They do not have as huge a selection as some of the bigger stores (e.g. Dicks, REI, Hudson Trail) but what they do have is quality, and they won't hesitate to order stuff for you. I've found the staff to be really friendly. They have both MTB, commuter, and roadie bikes, though I think it's probably a bit more towards road stuff (could just be what's popular ATM). It's right off the W&OD trail if you want to ride there.
I've never been to the Spokes location in Vienna but I have been to the one in Alexandria and it was nice. I've got nothing bad to say about them, except that they seem to charge more for service than Bikenetic does. Worth shopping around and finding a store that you like, and feel like you can build a relationship with.
